But killing a person? That can't be the way to progress society, I refuse to believe that. What if he's innocent and a terrible mistake has been made? History is littered with convicted rapists and murderers that have found to be innocent after conviction.
Oh no, it's known that he did it. He's admitted to it. There's witnesses to whom he spoke to about it. He even said "today, she's a lady". The girl was eight years old.
Before I start this let it be known that I believe, as you do, that death is too good for such people. But as soon as you set a precident for killing people that do bad things mistakes will be made, and that means a legal system responsible for killing innocent people. Are you comfortable letting the US legal system having the power to kill people? It's not such a big step before we're all living in Mega City One in fear of the Judges and their Lawgivers.
I personally agree with you hun, if he admitted to it then we have no reason to say "wait, he may be innocent" that's his choice to admit guilt. Also, if he's being blatantly vulgar enough about it to say "today, she's a lady" then he doesn't appear to have remorse for what he has done.
