We used to have about three toads that looked much like this one that would show up in our yard every year.... of course we had to call them Bud, Wise, and Er. They stopped showing up a couple of years ago...this picture makes me kind of miss them.
I admit it... it freaked me out. This is not a face I wanted to see before six in the morning, scratching at my back door. But now he's happy elsewhere eating god knows how many bugs.
